Woosh zoom zippity dip - it’s nic!
Born and raised in Los Gatos, California, Nicole Closson is a dancer and choreographer whose work blurs the lines between structure and spontaneity. She graduated from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles with a degree in Dance and emphasis in performance choreography. Nicole’s work is marked by active, loud, and colorful movements. Inspired by the way the human body can fold into different shapes, forms, and structures, Nicole plays with creating lines, breaking them, to then, re-create them. As a movement artist, Nicole has a hunger for spastic repetition and moves that make people laugh.
She is silly, eccentric, and displays passion in her unique joyful movement. Nicole resides in West Hollywood where she is inspired by the constant movement of the city.
In her free time, you can find Nicole at the theater, surfing, skating, and dancing on Sunset Blvd, mesmerized by the energetic atmosphere of Los Angeles.
